WEGS Old Skool brings back the days of dark dungeons, dreaded dragons, and barbarian brawls with a vengeance. With simple rules, robust heroes, and plenty of brutal foes, this game delivers heroic action like no other system.
Great for those new to fantasy role-play, RPG veterans will get big kicks out of the brutally simple dice mechanics that dare them to push this system to its breaking point!
WEGS, the Wickedly Errant Game System, is designed for explosive fantasy encounters. Fueled by four dice alone, the game is energized by a rule system that encourages players to take risks and, most of all, have fun. Dice drive the heroics here, not rulebooks!
Old Skool harkens back to the day when all you needed to go on an adventure were some dice, a character sheet, and a wild imagination! Character creation is a breeze-it’s as simple as picking a class (Warrior, Ranger, Trickster, Mage or Sage) and a race (Dwarf, Elf, Goblin, Gnobbit or Humnz). After a few quick dice rolls to determine their heroes' starting stats, players are handed their “spoints” (poker chips) and the adventure begins!
WEGS Old Skool is an action-packed, dice-rolling, casino-crazed, sword-n-sorcery system that forces dice to their rightful place on the game table: the tumbling blocks of fate. This is a system best shaken, not stirred.
Grab your dice and jump into the fray!

The Adventure Game With Dice And Guts
A Brief History
Way, way back in 2005, El Willy and his band of merry-go-lucky Wegshogs launched their initial WEGS tour. They took their little sword-n-sorcery engine everywhere they could on the gaming circuit: gaming stores, college cons, regional conventions (WittCon, DexCon, Dreamation, Icon, MACE and more!) and the mega cons (Origins, Historicon and Gen Con). During their travels many gamers jumped into the WEGS fray and took a bite out of this strange, new, retro-hybrid adventure game. Some took a whole lot of bites.
After five years of basement playtesting and two solid years of introducing convention players to WEGS, the game system was finally released at GenCon 2007. With each passing con, more and more folks are finding out why the Wickedly Errant Game System is unlike any other system on the market. With poker chips, skill cards, dice and minis in play, how can you really go wrong?
Since its 2007 release, El Willy and his band of merry-go-lucky Wegshogs have continued to play the game at conventions bringing more and more players to the WEGS table. In July 2010, a brand-new version of the game was released: Old Skool Redux! Also released was the advanced rules for WEGS play, Dice Rule!.
In the summer of 2011, the Ultimate Dungeon Party was released, serving up six new heroes to play: the Templar, Glaivemaiden, Sneak, Warlock, Monk and Dungeoneer.
As one young con player remarked, "It's like (insert the name of that really, really famous sword-n-sorcery game), but you don't have to read all those rules!"
